​101 Skateboards was founded in 1991 by former SMA pro and street pioneer Natas Kaupas. Natas teamed up with Steve Rocco and created 101 and from the beginning his influence was omnipresent. From the iconic, incendiary graphics, to the groundbreaking technicality of their 'Falling Down' and 'Snuff' videos, 101 was decades ahead of the curve. With riders like Eric Koston, Gino Iannucci, Jason Dill, Marcus McBride and Clyde Singleton, to name just a few, 101 set the template for what a truly progressive skate company should be.
